Wish Us Luck at The LAMAs!

The team here at loveclontarf.ie are dusting off our glad-rags and polishing our shoes today in preparation for the 2017 Community & Council Awards, hosted by the Local Authority Members Association which take place tomorrow, February 4th. 

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry is the venue for the awards once again this year. The event will host various communities and councils from all over the country, to recognise their unique contribution to their local community and to acknowledge the work done by these groups to enhance any area for the good of their town, city or borough. 

loveclontarf.ie is honoured to be nominated once again in the “Best Connected Community” category alongside many fantastic local community initiatives like Athyboy Hub, Bray.ie, Fingal County Council (Working in Partnership with local Councillors, Balbriggan Chamber of Commerce and Balbriggan Community Council), Beggars Bush D4 and Templeport Development Association. We're especially excited to meet national treasure Marty Morrissey who is MC of the event!

Last year we took home the award for the third year in a row, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of the Clontarf Residents’ Association, The Clontarf Business Association, local councillors, our wonderful and generous sponsors and of course, you, our readers! The support for loveclontarf.ie really is fantastic, and we are looking forward to continuing to bring you the latest on all things Clontarf over the next year!
