What's on in Clontarf this weekend
It's not as busy a weekend for events as we come into the middle of summer and the start of the holiday season. But there is still plenty of reasons to get out and about locally in Clontarf.
Your local restaurants will be delighted to see you if you fancy some fine food without all the prep and the washing up that goes with it.
The local Clontarf pubs will be busy showing the remaining quarter finals of the Euro 2012 competition. Ireland have departed but the show goes on and the football is of a very high standard.
'Rose' has been very well received at the Viking and it finishes up on Saturday night after a two week run. Some tickets still available.
The CRC are holding a golf classic - hopefully the weather improves for that.
And to round off the weekend, there is a concert being held in St. John the Baptist Church on Clontarf Road with funds going towards a fund to repaint the church.
Don't forget that there is also an opportunity to recycle electrical goods by dropping them up to Tesco at Artaine Castle.
