What's on in Clontarf this weekend
This weekend is set to be a busy one for everyone in Clontarf, with the Christmas season really starting to kick off!
There are lots of events, festive and otherwise, taking place all over Clontarf to keep everyone busy.
The weekend will kick off this evening with the opening of the Annual Art Exhibition in Áras Chluain Tarbh at 8pm. Everyone is invited!
On Saturday 8th, Clontarf Parish will have their first 'Lighting Up Advent' event, from 2pm - 5pm, when they will switch on the lights on their very own Advent Tree in the Church grounds. Everyone is welcome to this event, where there will be refreshments, Christmas crafts and a cake sale.
A benefit night for the late Dave Thompson will also be held on Saturday evening in the Pebble Beach Lounge from 8pm - 12am, with a live band for entertainment. Tickets for this event cost €10.
Harry Byrne's Annual Christmas Charity Party will also take place on Saturday. There will be a raffle with some fantastic prizes, and €1 from every drink purchased on the night will be donated to St. Francis Hospice in Raheny. The party will kick off at 8pm.
Finally, the last Clontarf Craft Fair before Christmas will be held on Sunday 9th in St. Anthony's Old Church from 10.30am - 4pm.
