Weather warning for this weekend
Here is a weather warning that has come to use from Dublin City Council...
"Met Éireann have forecast between 25 and 35 millimetres of rain for the Dublin area between 8 pm on Saturday 2/6/2012 and 8 am on Sunday morning. The City’s rivers and streams will be closely monitored over the weekend and regular contact made with Met Éireann by the Council’s drainage staff.
Dublin City Council will also monitor its rain gauges throughout the city. The tide gates on the River Dodder will be closed on Saturday until Monday as a precautionary measure. Dublin City Council’s drainage network can deal with that amount of rainfall and regular updates will be made available by the City Council to the public, if necessary."
