Watermain Improvement Works on the Clontarf Road
Residents will be aware of the ongoing water main improvement works on the Clontarf Road involving the replacement of 1.5km of old cast iron water mains with heavy-duty plastic pipes.
Further works are scheduled from 14th to 17th April 2021 between 9am and 5pm each day. These works are likely to cause intermittent disruption to the water supply to properties in the following areas:
- Wednesday 14th: Clontarf Rd from Wooden Bridge to Vernon Ave, Conquer Hill Rd, Vernon Court and Fortview Ave.
- Thursday 15th and Friday 16th: Clontarf Rd from Seafield Rd to Wooden Bridge and Bull Wall Cottages
- Saturday 17th: Clontarf Rd from Wooden Bridge to Vernon Ave, Bull Wall Cottages and Vernon Court.
Traffic management plans will be in place but it’s probably best to avoid this stretch of the Clontarf Road if possible.
