Viking Theatre's Birthday Bash

20 Nov 2012

viking theatres first birthday bashA great night of celebrations was had on Sunday, November 11th, for the Viking Theatre's Birthday Bash!

The evening started off with a performance of Village Wooing by George Bernard Shaw. Then were the speeches, which didn't last too long! Peter Sheridan, who officially opened the Viking one year ago, said a few words.

Andrew Murray and Laura Dowdall, pictured right with Peter Sheridan, Directors of the Viking Theatre, also said a few words, to thank everyone for their continued support and to speak a little about the future.

Everyone then proceeded to the lounge to cut the birthday cake and to enjoy post-theatre drinks in The Sheds.

The time has flown by and the patrons of the theatre have been treated to some high quality drama throughout the year. We wish continued success to Laura and Andy, the Theatre Directors, and of course to Peter Connolly, proprietor of The Sheds, for providing the venue, along with the drinks reception on the special night.
