Update on Proposed Senior Living Scheme Development - Sybil Hill House
Further to our recent post (here) regarding the application for a Senior Living Scheme on Sybil Hill Road at Sybil Hill House (between Ardilaun Court and St Paul’s school), residents will be interested to note that DCC has refused permission.
There were two grounds for refusal and they centred around issues to do with zoning, lack of a Masterplan, and the fact that the applicant did not demonstrate that the proposal would not be a material contravention of the City Development Plan; and
impact on Sybil Hill House, a protected structure, its curtilage, and quality and quantity of open space.
