Upcoming works on the Clontarf Road between the junction of Dollymount Ave and Mt Prospect Ave.

A message from Clontarf Residents’ Association
We would like to advise residents of upcoming works on the Clontarf Road between the junction of Dollymount Ave and Mt Prospect Ave. Works are due to commence on 30th October and run until 7th November 2025.
A 24hour traffic lane closure on Clontarf Road in the vicinity of the bus stop will be in place for the duration of the works. A STOP/GO system will be in place to facilitate two-way vehicular traffic in the Howth bound lane. The city bound traffic lane will be closed to vehicular traffic so as to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists.
The works are necessary to reconfigure the sea side bus stop (#1724). This bus stop is in a shared space where the cycle-track and footpath are combined. It is now planned to provide segregation of the cycle-track and footpath with a landing zone also being provided to accommodate bus boarding and alighting.
