Upcoming Bull Island Action Group Litter Pick Up

Just a quick reminder that the next Bull Island Action Group litter pick up will be held this Saturday, March 16th. As ever, they would appreciate as much help as possible.

The group always meets on the third Saturday of every month at 11am, at the entrance to Dollymount Strand, just beyond the Royal Dublin Golf Club. The duration of the litter pick up is approximately 2 hours. Click this link for a map of the meeting point.

Litter pickers, hoops, gloves and rubbish bags are supplies to all volunteers by the Action Group. Dublin City Council provides a tractor and trailer plus Gerry the driver.

Try to bring a friend or a family member along with you. They will get fresh air and exercise and give the group some valuable help. Many hands make light work.

Please see below the expected weather and tide information for Saturday. Make sure that you dress for the expected conditions as the beach is very exposed. Rubber boots are always a good idea.
