Traffic Notice - Road Closure for Causeway Road 15th -18th Feb
As you may be aware KN Group on behalf of Dublin City Council are at present carrying out construction works on the new Cycle & Footway Interim Works Project in Clontarf. To facilitate the current programme of works on Causeway Road which involves the installation of a new underground HDPE water main and service ducting, a road closure will be necessary from the 15th to 18th of February.
In the event of an emergency, the following procedures will be in place;
- A temporary diversion route and emergency entry to St Anne’s Golf Club and the Causeway Road will be accessible via the wooden bridge road (Bull Road) as shown on the attached Aerial Map.
- Access Codes to Entry Gates as identified on the Aerial Map will be available from the emergency point of contacts listed below.
- Road plates will be on standby to cover trench excavations to allow emergency HGV vehicular access onto Causeway Road as there is a 2t weight limit restriction permissible onto the Wooden Bridge Road.
