The Viking Theatre is Back!

After a summer break, Clontarf’s beloved Viking Theatre reopens its doors this week with ANOTHER sold-out run of the much-loved play Paddy - and what a way to kick off the new season!
Now entering its 14th year, the Viking has staged over 300 productions since it first opened above Connolly's The Sheds back in 2011. From world premieres to powerful revivals, this intimate gem of a theatre has become a magnet for writers, producers, and performers across Ireland - and a respected destination for audiences who know and love great theatre.
A massive shout out to Laura and Andy, whose dedication, vision and determination have shaped the Viking into one of Dublin’s most vital cultural spaces - all without the public funding that goes to larger theatres.
And of course, thank you to the local community. Your loyalty and support keep the lights on and the stories flowing.
