The Gathering Of The Vikings - Kicks off tonight!
The weekend is finally here, and tonight marks the beginning of this year’s Clontarf Festival - The Gathering Of The Vikings.
This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better than last year with the addition of a Friday Night Comedy Event in local pubs and a huge line-up of great music acts to play on the Promenade on Saturday.
Tonight’s Comedy Night starts at 8pm in The Sheds, Graingers/Pebble Beach Bar and The Bram Stoker. Three hilarious comedians - Willie White, Eric Lalor and Chris Kent - will be performing a set in each pub over the night. It’s definitely not one to miss.
Tomorrow’s main event along the Promenade will kick off at 12pm, with live music on the mainstage, a Food Village featuring produce from local Clontarf stores and restaurants and a Viking Village, where there will be plenty of activities for everyone.
