Swimming Halted in Dollymount Strand

27 Aug 2015

We would like to notify all residents that Dublin City Council have issued a bathing ban for today 27th August, until it receives results from water tests tomorrow.

Under EU mandate, the council must test waters at least once every two weeks during the summer bathing season of June, July and August.

So in the meantime steer clear from the water, and hopefully the ban will be lifted by the time our supposed second summer arrives next week!
