Support the Irish Paralympics Team!
Patrick Haslett, Clontarf resident and Commerical Director for Paralympic Ireland, has asked us to let our readers know about the drive for support currently underway from Paralympics Ireland. The 'More Than Sport' crowdfunding campaign aims to raise €25,000 to support Ireland’s elite Paralympic athletes, including our own Ellen Keane, as they compete in the Rio 2016 Games which begin tomorrow.
The proceeds from the campaign will go towards final team preparations: from athlete coaching to travel costs; sports-science/medical support to competitive kit - all the parts necessary to ensure our athletes can deliver their best in competition. There are even some great rewards for your support too, from digital downloads to t-shirts and posters to meeting the athletes themselves!
