Support Don Bosco Care With 5-A-Side
Don Bosco Care would like to challenge your staff to a 5-a-side soccer game in Clontarf!
The 5-A-Side football challenge will take place on Thursday evenings at 5pm at the Clontarf all-weather pitches based at the Clontarf Road Dart station. Male, female or mixed teams welcome - just choose a date that suits you and your staff and get in touch with Don Bosco Care to book.
The cost to accept the Don Bosco Care 5-a-side football challenge is €100 per team. This money goes to cover the hire of the football pitch for the challenge match plus the regular weekly football session, as well as to provide some light refreshment afterwards.
Don Bosco Care’s football team is made up of young adults who have grown up in care. They have all come from extremely difficult backgrounds where they were unable to remain living in the family home. The weekly football programme plays a key role in rebuilding their lives.
Your team’s participation will have a number of positive outcomes. Most of all, it offers the opportunity for our young adults to meet and interact with others from different backgrounds. This is extremely beneficial to them, as your staff will be roles models to what they can achieve.
