St Pauls TY Students Help Clean Coast

22 Nov 2020

The Transition Year students from St. Paul's College, Sybil Hill were active again this week on a windy and rainy day to help clean the Clontarf coastline.

Included in the many bags of rubbish they collected were two footballs, seven shoes, eight tennis balls, two sliothars, three fishing nets, three buckets, a shovel, a traffic cone, a boiler, and a fender off a sailboat...How are all of these items ending up as rubbish in the Irish Sea?

Well done to all the lads involved. And many thanks to Donal McGuirk from Bull Island Action Group for sharing this story with us.
