State’s Motion to Strike Out
This morning Judge Twomey delivered his judgement in the above case.
Unfortunately, today’s ruling did not go in our favour and the State’s Motion seeking to strike out our proceedings has been granted.
As we have said from the beginning, it is disappointing that the State chose to argue about when we should have brought the case rather than deal with the fundamental issues.
We are obviously disappointed with this ruling and the implications it has for protecting the St Paul’s Playing Fields from future development. Our legal team are considering the full implications of the judgement and a further update will be issued in due course.
