St. Gabriel's Refugee Solidarity Collection Point - List of Items

St. Gabriel's Parish Centre will act as a collection point for the Dublin-Calais Refugee Solidarity.

The centre will operate until Monday 21st of September, which is the deadline for items to be dropped off. 

It should be noted that the Calais Refugee Shelter is predominently men, and although women's and children's items can be dropped off and used for other shelters around Europe, the main focus in St. Gabriel's Paris Centre is to collect men's items.

Please read the following lists carefully and if you believe you have any items on these lists to donate, please drop in a lebelled bag at St. Gabriel's Paris Centre, St. Gabriel's Road, Clontarf, on or before Monday September 21st.

  • 25 adhesive bandages (assorted sizes)
  • 5 antibiotic ointment packets 9approx 1g)
  • 5 antiseptic wipe packets
  • 2 packets of aspirin (81 mg each)
  • 1 blanket (space blanket)
  • 1 breathing barrier (with one-way valve)
  • 1 instant cold compress
  • 2 pairs of nonlatex gloves (size large)
  • 2 hydricotisone ointment packets (approx. 1 gram each)
  • 1 roller bandage (3 inches wide)
  • 5 sterile gauze pads (3x3 inches)
  • 5 sterile gauze pads (4x4 inches)
  • oral thermometer (non-mercury, non-glass)
  • 2 triangular bandages
