St Anne's Bark In The Park
Clontarf dog lovers are invited to take part in the first of four summertime Irish Blue Cross Bark in the Park™ dog walks at St. Anne’s Park in Raheny on Sunday, 26th May at 3.00PM to raise funds for sick and needy pets.
There will be guaranteed fun (and perhaps even some sun!) and entertainment for all the family including dogs!
Once the walk is completed, dogs will have an opportunity to display their hidden talents to win fabulous prizes for the Best Bark, Happiest Smile, Shiniest Coat and Waggiest Tail!
There will also be a raffle, spot prizes, music and goody bags full of canine & human treats! Maxi Zoo kindly sponsors the spot prizes and doggy treats for all participants.
Bark in the Park™ at St Anne’s Park takes place along a picturesque 4KM route, ideal for dogs & walkers, starting from, and finishing up at Sybil Hill Road entrance beside St. Paul’s College.
Everyone taking part should arrive between 2.00PM and 2.30PM to register, buy raffle tickets and of course admire the canine entrants! The sponsored walk ‘Barks Off’ at 3.00PM.
All dog lovers are encouraged to come along, rain or shine to support the charity to raise much-needed funds for developing veterinary facilities at its clinics.
Last year, The Irish Blue Cross provided over 27,000 treatments, surgeries, tests, etc and expect this figure to soar once again this year. Veterinary facilities are in constant need of upgrade and repair due to the throughput of so many patients.
Please visit www.barkinthepark.ie for information and to register. Alternatively come along to the event and make a donation on the day.
