Park Access & What's Open

First, the great news: Olive’s Room at The Red Stables, the Tennis Courts, the Pitch and Putt course, the Allotments and the Dog Park will all remain open and accessible during their usual hours! However, please note that there will be no parking available at these locations on show days, and all general park carparks will close at 15:00hrs on concert dates.

To facilitate the stage build and staging, certain areas of the park will experience temporary closures from Tuesday 19th May until Saturday 13th June.

Traffic, Cones & Road Closures

To keep our community safe and traffic flowing, An Garda Síochána and a team of stewards will be managing local roads.

  • Sybil Hill Road: Will be closed from Vernon Avenue to Howth Road each concert evening between 15:00hrs and 23:30hrs. (Local access will be maintained for St. Paul’s College, Little Sisters of the Poor and Ardilaun Court Apartments).

  • Garda 'No Parking Cones': Will be strictly enforced to prevent gridlock on surrounding residential roads. These restrictions run from 07:00hrs Friday 29th May to 01:00hrs Monday 1st June, and again from 07:00hrs Friday 5th June to 01:00hrs Monday 8th June. Affected areas include sections of Mount Prospect Avenue, Vernon Avenue, Blackheath Park, All Saints Road and Brookwood Avenue.

Sound Levels & Exams

We know many local households are in the thick of exam preparation during this time. MCD has assured residents that sound checks and tests will be strictly limited to a cumulative 3 hours per day, will never take place during the physical sitting times of any state exams, and will not start before 10:00am. An independent noise control consultant will also be monitoring levels inside the venue and in the surrounding local areas to ensure everything stays within legal limits.

Local Residents' Ticket Lottery

Keep an eye on your letterbox! A limited allocation of complimentary tickets is available for local residents via a lottery draw. If you are eligible, a hard copy of the official resident's letter will be delivered to your home in the coming week with details on how to enter. Please note these are managed exclusively through the Dublin City Council North Central Area Office.
