As the days get shorter and the air turns crisp, Clontarf is getting ready for a frightfully fun Halloween season! The community is buzzing with festive events that promise a great time for everyone. Whether you're a fan of spooky thrills, family-friendly fun, or local traditions, Clontarf has something special lined up for you this Halloween!

1. Halloween Fun at Marino Crescent Park (Bram Stoker)

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, October 30th, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Location: Marino Crescent Park, Clontarf

Join in the eerie excitement at Marino Crescent Park, famously linked to Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula. This spooky evening features a movie screening, haunted trails, storytelling, face painting and much more! It's a perfect family-friendly event, with something for everyone to enjoy in a safe and spooky setting.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Kilmore Halloween Party

  • Date & Time: Thursday, October 31st
  • Location: Kilmore Recreation Centre, Dublin 5

Celebrate Halloween with two sessions of spooktacular fun at the Kilmore Recreation Centre!

  • 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (for 5-7 year olds): Enjoy spooky face painting and an exciting mask-making arts & crafts workshop.
  • 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM (for 8-10 year olds): Dive into spooky Halloween activities, face painting, and a magic show!

This free event is a great way for kids to get into the Halloween spirit, but booking is essential. Please contact the North Central Area Office at north.central@dublincity.ie or (01) 222 8870 to reserve a spot.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3. Halloween Art & Drama Camp at Saint Gabriel’s Road

  • Dates: Tuesday, October 29th – Friday, November 1st
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Location: 3 Saint Gabriel's Road, Dublin 3

Bring the kids along to the Halloween Art & Drama Camp at Saint Gabriel's Road, where they will have the chance to explore their creative talents through improvisation, mime and character building. They'll work on their own mini-plays, dive into hands-on art projects using clay, paint, and construction and create spooky-themed pieces.

This camp is ideal for children aged 7 to 14, offering a perfect blend of drama and art. Let their imaginations run wild in this enchanting and eerie world of creativity!

4. Halloween Art Camp for Kids at Clasac, Clontarf

  • Dates: Tuesday, October 29th – Friday, November 1st
  • Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Location: Clasac, Alfie Byrne Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3
  • Cost: €130.00 (for the full camp)

Calling all young artists! The Halloween Art Camp at Clasac offers an exciting and eerie experience for kids aged 8 to 12. Over four days, children will create terrifying masks, creepy costumes, shadow lanterns, demonic puppets, and more! They'll get to explore their imaginations by designing haunted characters, making spell books, and even working on spooky-themed animation and comics.

This camp is a fantastic opportunity for young minds to express themselves creatively while getting into the Halloween spirit.

5. Leaps and Bounds Halloween Camp at Belgrove Boys School

  • Dates: Tuesday, October 29th – Friday, November 1st
  • Location: Belgrove Boys School, Clontarf
  • Cost: €80 for the week (optional extra hours available)

The Leaps and Bounds Camp at Belgrove Boys School offers a multi-activity experience for children aged 4 and up. This fun and creative camp ensures that every child enjoys themselves while gaining confidence through a variety of engaging activities. From arts and crafts to team-building games, it’s a perfect way to keep kids entertained and active during the Halloween break.
