Searching for a Lost Piece of Clontarf’s History

We recently received a charming email from David, a Dublin native now living in Frankfurt, with a special request. His wife grew up in a house at 216 Clontarf Road, located near what is now Vernon Court. This house, like many others along the seafront, was demolished and replaced by apartments in the late 1960s.
David has been on a mission to find a photograph of this house or the neighbouring homes along this stretch of the Clontarf seafront—but so far, his search has come up empty. He’s reaching out to our wonderful community to see if anyone might have a photograph tucked away in a personal collection or know where such images could be found.
