Sean Haughey to Contest General Election in Dublin Bay North
Last night, Fianna Fail confirmed that Councillor Sean Haughey would be added as a candidate in the forthcoming General Election in the Dublin Bay North.
The news was not unexpected and had been flagged by several national media outlets in recent weeks. Councillor Haughey previously represented Clontarf as a TD up until 2011.
Mr Haughey said: “I am very honoured to be nominated as FF candidate. I am deeply committed to the ideal of public service and hope I can gain the trust of the electorate to represent them once again in Dáil Éireann.”
