Saying a Warm Farewell to Gúna Nua Theatre Company After 28 Wonderful Years

After 28 remarkable years, the curtain is officially closing on the brilliant Gúna Nua Theatre Company.

While we are sad to see this wonderful chapter in Irish theatre close, we want to celebrate the incredible legacy Gúna Nua leaves behind.

Clontarf locals might remember catching their production, SYNAPSES, right on our doorstep at the Viking Theatre back in June. If you missed it then, or if you loved it so much you want to experience it one last time, you have one final chance to see it.

To mark the end of an era, Gúna Nua is staging their final-ever run of SYNAPSES at The New Theatre from 19 to 21 August.

SYNAPSES is an intimate, electric piece about connection and memory. It is a fitting and beautiful finale, honouring the company's mission to create work that truly resonates with its audience.
