Santa is Coming to Clontarf on Sunday!

08 Dec 2020

This just in… Santa's on his way to Clontarf this Sunday!!

Along with 6 Harley Davidson Bikes, he will be travelling around Clontarf on Sunday evening, 13th December. Starting at the Garda Station at 4 pm he will work his way around the Clontarf neighbourhood finishing at St Gabriel’s.

Santa will travel on the front of the Clontarf Cycling Without Age Magical Cycling Sleigh escorted by local members of the Coast Guard and Gardai - his reindeers are taking a rest ahead of Christmas Eve of course.

Parents and children are invited to get on their Christmas jumpers, get practising Jingle Bells and wave at him along the way from the side of the road or from their houses.

Please remember social distancing and make sure groups of people aren’t gathered together.

We'll give location updates on our Facebook page on the day so be sure to check-in.

Santa had already spread some festive cheer in St. Anne’s park last Sunday, 6th December. He was helping fundraise for St. Anne’s City Farm and said he really enjoyed asking those children he bumped into in St. Anne’s what they had asked for for Christmas. Apparently, Paw Patrol and Nintendo Switches are at the top of children’s lists this year!
