S2S Road Closure - Wooden Bridge/Bull Wall Junction - Emergency Extension
KN Network Services have requested an emergency extension to this temporary road closure for an additional 3 days due to a major water leak on an existing mains pipe. The ductile iron pipe when excavated and exposed confirmed the leak was caused by corrosion on the pipe's outer wall.
Dublin City Council are attending the works at present and hope to have a replacement section of pipe installed at some stage this evening. Reinstatement of the road will continue over the weekend period and the junction will be reopened to the public on Monday evening, 10th of October.
