Rose Festival a Huge Success

23 Jul 2012

RosesSaturday and Sunday saw the Dublin City Rose Festival return once more to Clontarf's St. Anne's Park. The festival was a huge success this year, despite the changeable weather.

There was no shortage of entertainment for kids, with a bouncey castle, face painting, a climbing wall, and a carousel; all of which were free. As well as that, the Viking Village had plenty of battle reenacments to entertain all the family.

Plenty of food stalls were set up in the park, including one from Clontarf's very own Kinara restaurant, and the quality of food supplied was very high. As well as food stalls, there were plenty of others selling flowers and plants.

The festival was very well managed, with large amounts of stewards on hand to ensure everything went well, and a great parking system in place to ensure that there were no problems getting into or out of the park.

Congratulations to Dublin City Council, and all involved, for putting on another great Rose Festival.
