Richard Bruton Launches Clontarf Millennium Events Tonight
It is an exciting time in Clontarf as the Battle of Clontarf Millennium is begininning to get underway.
Richard Bruton, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will officially launch the Battle of Clontarf 2014 Commemoration Events tonight at the Clasac Alfie Byrne Road, Clontarf.
The first event of the year long program is an evening lecture tonight at 8.15pm by local historian and author, Dennis McIntyre. The lecture is entitled "A Clontarf perspective on the Battle of Clontarf". The event is being organised jointly by the Clontarf Historical Society and Raheny Heritage Society.
