Replies to our letters to the Taoiseach and other cabinet ministers

11 Jun 2011

You will recall that we recently wrote to four members of the cabinet asking them to use their executive powers to stop the consultation that has been set in motion by Dublin Port Company. You can read our letter by clicking here.

It is expected that this consultation process will result in a new application later this year from Dublin Port Company to infill large parts of Dublin Bay.

We have received replies thus far from the following: (click on the name to view the reply received):

An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny

An Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore

Minister Leo Varadkar

We have not yet received a reply to our other letter which was to Minister Richard Bruton.
