Rebecca Mooney Selected for Irish Kickboxing Team!
Clontarf’s Rebecca Mooney got the better of the best in Europe in Finland earlier this year to become European Taekwon-do Champion.
Now the 16 year old from Clontarf is lining out for the Irish kickboxing team to take on the best Kickboxers in the World on home soil.
As well as her Taekwon-do, Rebecca also trains with Kickboxing coach Robbie Haugh and is looking for another major tournament podium finish. Rebecca will even begin teaching an all female teen/adult kickboxing class from September!
The WAKO Cadets & Juniors World Championships (all disciplines) will take place at City West Hotel & Convention Centre in Dublin, Ireland, from 27th August to 3rd September 2016. (click here for more details)
