Rainforest Diorama Art Camp for children aged 7 - 12

19 Jun 2013

Using a variety of unusual materials, participants will create a three dimensional diorama of a rainforest scene, in a two-sided wooden box. This will include 3D trees carved from foam, animals made from modelling clay, and details made from a range of other exciting materials. Each diorama will be unique. In a FUN environment participants will learn the skills of sculpture and painting.

This is the fifth Art Camp run in St Gabriel's by qualified Art Teacher & professional Artist, David Cotter. David is an NCAD qualified Art Teacher with many years experience as an Artist/Graphic Designer and Art Teacher. He currently teaches art at primary, secondary and PLC levels (including teaching for the National College of Art & Design). David believes that art should be FUN and brings out the best from his students by transferring skills in a relaxed and fun environment. All pupils walk away with a piece of artwork way beyond their own expectations.
