Raheny Heritage Society at the Rose Festival
The Raheny Heritage Society will once again have their collection of historical photos from St. Anne's and Raheny on display at the Rose Festival on 16 & 17 July 2016. They will be located this year in the Red Stables building each day and everyone is welcome to visit and browse.
The society is working on compiling a book about the development of the Howth Road, stretching from Clontarf, to Killester, Raheny and up to Kilbarrack Road. If anyone has any old photos of houses, shops, pubs, buildings as well as any oral history of the Howth Road, they would love to hear from you. Please drop in any time into the Red Stables over the festival weekend to chat to our members.
