Radio Documentary Remembering Michael Yeates

Those of you with long memories might remember Michael Yeates who was a cobbler on Church Gate Avenue in Clontarf. He retired around 2011 at the age of 89 and passed away in April of this year.
Shortly before his retirement, Natalia McCarthy recorded a documentary for radio which won a college award and was subsequently broadcast on RTE Radio 1.
Near FM recently revived this documentary and we strongly recommend having a listen to this very interesting piece of Clontarf history.
