Passing of Local Businessman Ronnie Caraher
It was with great sadness that we learned of the death last Friday of Ronnie Caraher of Clontarf Wines, following a short illness.
Ronnie was a very popular member of the local business community and with his wife, Helena had built a loyal customer base for their beloved wine store on the Clontarf Road.
Ronnie was a great conversationalist and just a really nice man. He will be sadly missed.
To his wife Helena and children, Rory and Sarah, we pass on our sincere condolences.
The Clontarf Business Association issued the following statement:
It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the untimely death of our longtime member and friend, Mr Ronnie Caraher of Clontarf Wines, after a short illness.
Ronnie and Helena have always been supportive members of the Association, and Ronnie was a well known and popular figure among local businesses and a genuinely lovely man.
On behalf of the Association, the current committee wishes to express our condolences to Helena and her family at this time.
