O' Hara's Spar Awarded 5 Star Awards!

A huge congratulations to O’ Hara’s Spar who have been awarded a ‘Spar 5 Star’ award again this year for both shops here in Clontarf. 

That’s 14 years in a row that O’ Hara’s Vernon Avenue and Stiles Road have been recognised in these awards, which is a serious indication of the standards of hygiene, value, presentation and customer service in both stores. Stores across the country vying for these awards must undergo a rigorous 12-month long assessment, where customer care, shop presentation, food safety and retailing innovation are scrutinised. 

According to a press release from the organisers; “The SPAR 5 Star Awards, held in association with the Excellence Ireland Quality Association, were given to SPAR stores that demonstrated outstanding industry excellence following a year of comprehensive inspections, visits from mystery shoppers and audits. The winners excelled in all areas of inspection, displaying exemplary standards across their stores.”

Gus O’ Hara, Clontarf resident and owner of both Spar stores said “These standards can only be met as consistently as they are due to our team led by Paul and Catherine and the great engagement our staff have with our customers. It is their belief that our customers are our No 1 priority every day and that reflects in us been recognised at national level by our industry peers year after year.”
