No Lighting Event for Clontarf Xmas Tree
The following is a statement from the Clontarf Business Association
It is with much regret that the Clontarf Business Association will not this year be hosting the annual Christmas tree lighting event at the bottom of Vernon Avenue.
This event has taken place now for a number of years very successfully however, Dublin City Council have not this year granted the CBA permission to go ahead with the event on safety grounds due to the ongoing road works and the dangers to the public from the cycle path at that location.
It is hoped that the CBA will find a new location in 2017 for this event to return to the Clontarf calendar.
