Monthly Beach Clean Up Saturday July 18th
The Bull Island Action Group would like to remind people, that the next monthly beach cleanup at Dollymount Strand will take place this Saturday July 18th.
The cleanup will begin at 11am, meeting at the entrance to Dollymount Strand, just past Royal Dublin Golf Club. Organisers would like volunteers to arrive ten minutes early, in order for the cleanup to begin as quickly as possible.
Dublin City Council provides a tractor and trailer plus driver, to remove and dispose of all rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment. Gloves will also be supplied.
The cleanup will last two hours, and volunteers are advised to bring a rain jacket, sun protection and rubber boots/appropriate footwear.
This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to get involved, and play their part in maintaining the beauty of Clontarf.
