Mini Heineken Cup in Clontarf as Bath Under 10's visit

12 Dec 2011

Bath Rugby Visit to ClontarfClontarf Rugby U10s are looking forward to the visit of Bath RFC U10s to Castle Avenue on Saturday 17th of December with kick off at 1.30pm.

We've received the following information for the match from the under 10's mentors:

"The 'tarf lads will face their toughest test of the season against what will be a well drilled and competitive Bath side.  The players that are selected to represent Clontarf on the day will really have to put in a big effort .  Both clubs have fine mini rugby traditions, over 400 players are registered with the mini rugby section of Clontarf, with numbers growing each year. The U10s have a squad of over 50 players. New players are most welcome to join. Please check our webpage for training details @ www.clontarfrugby.com.

The U10s would like to thank Ronan Ryan of La Stampa restaurant and Gus O’Hara of Spar Vernon Avenue & Stiles Road for the support for this game and all the help they have given all season.

Later that evening, Leinster will be taking on Bath in the Heineken Cup home game at 6pm at the Aviva.  Both of the teams have players that learned their rugby at mini rugby sections of Clontarf and Bath respectively.  All supporters welcome to come and watch the match in the clubhouse."

We wish the team all the best on Saturday.
