Mind your bike - Thieves About Clontarf.

We would like to warn residents to be careful about where they park their bikes.

One lady in the local area emailed us about an unfortunate incident. She had securely locked her bike down at the Bull wall, but despite the bike being secured the thieves made off with it. It would seem they had the right tools with them for the job.

The lady in question contacted the Garda station and apparently there have been a few reports of some men walking around Kinara/ Wooden Bridge area with bolt cutters. The main thing for residents is to be vigilant – but under no circumstances are you to approach these people – if you see something contact your local Garda station.
