This event has just got EVEN BIGGER. The event will now have two locations. There will be activities at the Vernon Ave junction with Clontarf Rd and also the Hollybrook Rd junction. This is the biggest such event ever staged in Clontarf and is not be missed!

Hello Midsummer! Join the Clontarf Business Association to celebrate the brightest days of the year on the promenade on June 18th, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is something for all of the family!

Following the Lord Mayor, MC Ray Shah kicks off some old-fashioned merriment for the little ‘uns, with three-legged races and face painting, balloons and clowns. There’ll be fire eaters and fitness, food and flowers, jugglers and stilt walkers.....boxing, scouts, sea scouts, football, rugby and karate demonstrations. Children will be wowed by a visit from our little friends at the Reptile Zoo and exhausted on the bouncy castles!

The fire brigade will be there to give the kids a close up, Mr Tayto will be there with his bus too. All through the afternoon local businesses will be sampling their finest products and tempting treats will be sold by Clontarf’s foodies.

At the Hollybrook Road end, there will be even more tasty food treats. There wll also be vintage cars on display and a Formula 1 car which will be the star attraction. You will have a golden opportunity to have a close up look at this vehicle. The Red Bull road crew will also be in attendance and there will be face painting and an inflatable obstacle course.

The Midsummer Festival was a huge success last year, attracting thousands of people, and it felt like the whole of Clontarf came along for a chat and a stroll to enjoy each other’s company, the fun and games, and the gorgeous sunny weather.

This event is brought to you by Clontarf Business Association and is generously supported by Dublin City Council.
