Clohisey Pushes Through Rio Rain at 2016 Olympic Games!
Huge congratulations to Mick Clohisey who completed the 2016 Olympic Games' Mens' Marathon in 2:26:34.
A Clontarf native and a marathon veteran, Clohisey pushed through the Rio rain yesterday to complete the 42.2km that is the Men’s Marathon- despite being under the weather since arriving at the Olympic Village early last week.
There’s no doubt that all here in Clontarf are extremely proud of Mick, and we hope he enjoys a well deserved break following all the hard work and training he has put in to get to the Olympics this year.
