Love Dublin Bay Halloween Protest Swim!
The Love Dublin Bay Group have organised a swimming protest with a Halloween theme for Thursday 29th October at 11am.
The protest has bee organised to with the hopes of halting the dumping of millions of tonnes of contaminated silt/waste over in Dublin Bay by Dublin Port Company.
The application for dumping is at the Public Consultation stage, and the deadline for submissions is November 11th.
The Love Dublin Bay group urges everyone to come along and join them, if you're brave enough to get into the water in costume that's great! If not, come along and share stories of your love of Dublin Bay, flasks of hot drinks, banners and lots of family and friends.
The event will be filmed to promote the campaign before the November 11th deadline.
The Group Campaigning to protect Dublin Bay will have a stand again in Nolan's Supermarket in the coming Saturdays with information and a template submission for concerned residents to use.
