Local resident sleeping out for 'Shine a Light'

Local Clontarf resident, Karen Mulvaney, will be dispensing with all of her home comforts next Friday night as she plans to sleep outdoors as part of the 'Shine A Light' event in aid of the Focus Ireland charity.

This is the real thing as they say. It's a proper sleep out with cardboard and plastic, no tents or luxuries. And with the weather taking a turn in recent weeks this will not be very comfortable.

Karen will be known to many residents for her work on the Rugby club marketing/fundraising committee. 

Focus Ireland is an important Irish charity who do great work to help prevent homelessness.
