The Irish Times published a lovely feature on Clontarf postman Joe McDonald who's keeping his customers company during the cocooning period.
Many residents will know or at least recognise Joe as the ever-friendly postman serving the Mount Prospect, St Gabriel's, Dollymount areas.
An Post is doing some incredible work during this period where over 70s are asked to stay indoors, and postal workers like Joe are offering assistance, and the odd chat, to those who might feel especially lonely and isolated.
