Local Pat Twomey launches Book on Wild Atlantic Way Journey!

17 Nov 2020

Local Clontarf man Pat Twomey (Mount Prospect Grove) has just launched his lovely new book, The Wild Atlantic Way: My Way! over at www.pattwomey.ie.

This is a perfect Christmas stocking filler, telling the remarkable story of Pat Twomey’s 2,500 km charity cycle from Kinsale in Co. Cork along Ireland’s west coast and beyond to end at the Giant’s Causeway in Co. Antrim. This book is his fascinating personal account of taking on this challenge at the age of 72, having only relatively recently taken up cycling as a hobby.

Thirty colour route maps accompany an engaging daily diary of the exquisite landscapes, the friendly people and the trials, great and small, that he encountered on his memorable adventure.

What's even better? Pat has chosen to donate the profits of his book for Pieta.

Pat's book is available online at www.pattwomey.ie and locally in O'Hara's Spar Vernon Avenue as well as other retailers. Be sure to pick up a copy!
