Local footballer, Evan Finnegan called up to the Irish U-17 squad
Following on from our recent story about Evan Finnegan being signed by Doncaster Rovers, we have more good news!
Evan has also been called up to the Irish U-17 squad which is a great achievement. You can read more on the Doncaster Rovers website and it's nice to see his new club giving the credit for the selection to his previous team, Home Farm.
The next Ireland game is at home (in Wexford) to Serbia and is on 17th September.
Well done again to Evan and also to proud dad, Terry, who some of you will know from the local Credit Union.
