Leinster Cricket Senior Cup Final Resumes This Evening

30 Jul 2012

This evening will see the continuation of the Leinster Cricket RSA Senior Cup Final after it was delayed by rain on Saturday. The match resumes today at 6pm with Clontarf needing 100 runs to win with 7 wickets remaining in 21.1 overs.

Pembroke's modest total of 236 runs left Clontarf in a strong position at the start of their innings. Clontarf looked well set at 129 for one, but Pembroke struck back, dismissing Mitch Watterson for 53, followed by Clontarf captain Bill Coghlan just five balls later for 62.

Clontarf still look to be in a strong position, with 100 runs needed from 127 balls.

We'd like to wish Clontarf the very best of luck this evening.

UPDATE: Clontarf had a comfortable win by 6 wickets in the end.

Congratulations to all who were involved throughout the year.
