Launch of the Battle of Clontarf Events Programme
The official Battle of Clontarf events programme was launched today by Minister Jimmy Deenihan in the Long Room at Trinity College.
The year-long events schedule includes seminars, festivals and many other events and it also commemorates the life of Brian Boru. There's definitely something in the programme for everyone.
Events will take place at five locations in Ireland. Many of the events will take place in Clontarf and in Dublin City Centre.
Present at today's launch were local public representatives, members of the North-South Ministerial Council and members of local community committees, including of course Clontarf.
