Join Team Dublin Clean-Up 2024

Clontarf Residents’ Association in conjunction with Clontarf Tidy Towns are running two events as part of this year’s Team Dublin Clean up and need your help!
The first event will take place at the Tram Shelter on the Clontarf Road between Dollymount Park and Dollymount Avenue.
This area is being allowed to grow wild as part of a bee corridor around Dublin Bay. We need to edge all of the grassed areas to provide a clean earth space under the trees, remove the weeds and put down mypex and bark mulch under the benches. If time allows, we will also remove the weeds from along the sea wall.
The second event will take place at the Alfie Byrne Road end of the Prom and will involve litter picking and weeding around the sandbags. If time and the number of volunteers allows, the other sandbags on the Prom will also be tidied and we will try to remove some of the weeds along the wall and under the benches.
Please consider joining us on the day – even if it’s only for half an hour - at whichever event suits you best. Remember our Tidy Towns volunteers are out doing this every week. This is our once-a-year opportunity to lend a hand.
If you have your own litter picker, gloves, hi-vis vest, spade etc please bring them along. If you don’t, don't worry, we will have them for you.
