Joe Duffy Wins at An Post Irish Book Awards
Congratulations to local resident and RTE broadcaster, Joe Duffy, who took home the award for 'Best Irish-Published Book of the Year' at the 2019 An Post Irish Book Awards last night, Wednesday, November 20th.
Joe's book, Children of the Troubles, which honours the lives of the 186 children who died in the conflict in Northern Ireland, was written with Irish Times Northern Correspondent Freya McClements.

Following the release of his first book, Children of the Rising, in 2015, Joe once again pays tribute to innocent lives of children lost during a time of unrest in Irish History, ensuring that no child, their suffering and that of their family, is forgotten.
